  1. Download and install "notepad++" on your computer.
  2. Download and install gcc compiler on your computer
  3. Download the course specific files onto your computer and place in sdba directory
  4. Open welcome.c in the editor and leave OPEN
  5. Compile and link welcome.c using the gcc compiler and linker
  6. Run welcome.c
